Hola a todos(as):
Activities:
1. Write True (T) or False (F) according to the instruction. If the sentence is false write it correctly.
A. Diffusion needs a big vesicle to transport substances through the cell membrane. ( )
B. Pinocytosis is a process by which the cell ejects some substances ().
C. Phagocytosis is the movement of particles through a membrane from a place of low concentration to a place of high concentration ()
D. Active transport is the movement of solid particles through of the cell membrane ( )
E. Active transport is a process by which the cell transports particles or substances from a place of high concentration to a place of low concentration trough the membrane ( ).
F. Endocytosis can be classified into pinocytosis and phagocytosis ( ).
G. Active transport is ONLY for gets into the cells some substances ()
H. Phagocytosis is a process by which the cell ejects substances or particles ( )
I. The digestive system has bones. ( )
J. The function of the digestive system is to turn big pieces of food into small food particles. ( )
K. The process of digestion begins in the mouth. ( )
L. The liver and the pancreas do not belong to the digestive system. ( )
M. Cells make digestion. ( )
2. Draw a plant and locate in it the following words: Diffusion of oxygen, diffusion of CO2 - Phloem - Xylem - crude sap- elaborated substances - water – glucose
3. Write two differences between Xylem and phloem.
4. Write two differences between Diffusion and active transport.
5. Hypothesis prediction
An organism is eukaryotic, multicellular, DOES NOT make photosynthesis, has an exosqueleton made of chitin and DOES NOT have spinal column.
Underline ONLY the characteristics that complete that description.
· Their cells do not have cell membrane.
· It has many and small vacuoles.
· It is an angiosperm plant.
· It is autotroph.
· It is an invertebrate organism.
· It is heterotropos.
· It has nuclear membrana.
· It has cell wall.
· It is a fungi.
· It is an animal.
· It is Bryophite.
· It is a plant.
· It is a vertébrate organimsm.
· It has plant cells.
· Their cells have chloroplasts.
· It belongs to the Plantae Kingdom.
· It belongs to the Animalia Kingdom
· It is an arthropod.
· It has prokaryotic cells.
· It has bones.
¡Muchos éxitos a todos(as)!
